Photography and Film — A Cohesive Story from Your Wedding Day

Photography and Film — A Unified Expression

Photography is always the foundation of my work. It is where my experience, perspective, and visual language are rooted. Over time, I’ve also seen how meaningful it can be to complement still images with short film sequences — as an addition, never a replacement.

For couples planning from abroad or choosing a destination wedding, I offer photography and film as one cohesive experience. Throughout the wedding day, I quietly capture short cinematic moments alongside the photographs. Subtle movements and fleeting atmospheres that don’t always translate through a single frame — a shared glance, soft laughter, a hand finding another, the transitions between moments.

After the wedding, these film clips are thoughtfully woven together with selected photographs into a short film of approximately four minutes. The film combines still images and motion to create a calm, cohesive story of the day. It is designed as an atmospheric complement to the photographs, not as a traditional wedding film.

It’s important to be clear: I am not a videographer. I don’t work with long video recordings, interviews, or audio. The film element is intentionally understated, created with the same aesthetic, sensitivity, and attention to detail as my photography.

The photographs will always be the primary delivery. Film is offered as an integrated addition — for couples who wish to experience their wedding day not only in stillness, but also in movement.

In the end, you receive a carefully curated image gallery and a short film that brings together still photographs and living moments. A complete expression that feels personal, calm, and timeless — wherever in the world your wedding takes place.

Below you can see a selection of short films where photography and film come together — quiet stories that allow space for both atmosphere and movement.

Sara og Amjad

The ceremony at Oslo City Hall marked the beginning of a day filled with closeness, joy, and celebration. After the ceremony, the couple and their guests gathered for an atmospheric boat journey with Wright Cruises, travelling from Rådhusplassen to Sørenga.

The transition from the city to the fjord brought a natural sense of calm and flow to the day — creating space for laughter, conversation, and quiet moments along the way.

Sara wore a gown by Justin Alexander, with an expression that felt both classic and effortlessly elegant.

Maret og Fede

Maret and Fede celebrated their wedding day with a ceremony at Sem Church in Tønsberg, followed by dinner and festivities at Fevang Grendehus. The day was defined by warm encounters, genuine joy, and a relaxed atmosphere, allowing both the larger moments and the quieter in-between ones to unfold naturally.

The surroundings created a sense of intimacy and an effortless flow throughout the day, giving space for connection, conversation, and presence.

Maret wore a gown from the Pronovias Premiere Collection, Dominique — a timeless choice that complemented both her and the overall tone of the day beautifully.

Charlotte og Eirik

I had the pleasure of documenting Charlotte and Eirik’s wedding day — a celebration marked by closeness, calm, and genuine joy.

The day began with preparations at Lysebu Hotel in Oslo, followed by a ceremony at the beautiful Holmenkollen Chapel. The celebration continued with dinner and festivities at Sporten, surrounded by friends and family who shared the day alongside them.

Charlotte’s hair and makeup were done by Rebecca Angell from PÅHÅRET, with an overall expression that felt timeless, natural, and effortless.

The wedding day was filled with warm encounters, laughter, and quiet moments — a celebration of their love, just as it is.

Marie og Jørgen

Marie and Jørgen celebrated their wedding day with a ceremony at Haslum Church in Bærum, followed by dinner and festivities at Roklubben in Oslo. Between the ceremony and the celebration, we took time for a quiet portrait session at Villa Grande — surrounded by greenery and soft, natural light. A gentle pause in the day, allowing space for presence and connection.

Marie wore a gown by Nicole Jolie, with an expression that felt both elegant and timeless.

The day was defined by warm encounters, beautiful people, and an atmosphere that carried through the entire celebration.
